PETALING JAYA, Mon. - Malaysia may send a medical team to provide humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today.

He said the matter was being considered and a small team from the Armed Forces had been despatched to Afghanistan to conduct a study and to consult the authorities there.
