KUALA LUMPUR, Sun. - The Opposition coalition should re-evaluate its position if Pas insists on establishing an Islamic State without consulting other members of the group, Parti Rakyat Malaysia president Dr Syed Husin Ali said today.

He said Pas' refusal to hold discussions on the subject had caused the Barisan Alternatif's position to become "more complicated".
Syed Husin said Pas' concept of an Islamic State was not clear and had caused a lot of confusion, especially among non-Muslims.
