FOR years, hair on men has often been associated with masculinity and male magnetism. It is not an uncommon aspiration for the average man to proudly sport more hair on his head, chest and legs.

Now, it appears that this perception has taken one step into workplace reality. The results of a recent German survey on employment decisions presented by Dr Marty E. Sawaya during the American Academy of Dermatology 58th annual meeting in San Francisco, California, revealed that hair loss might have a quantifiable impact on a man's job opportunities.
