KULAI, Tues. - The 10-day SARS quarantine order imposed on 85 people from several villages here has been extended a further five days, until May 4.

This follows a similar decision by Singapore health authorities to ex- tend the closure of the Pasir Panjang vegetable wholesale market until May 4.
The affected residents, all of whom are lorry drivers, are believed to have been exposed to the deadly SARS virus when they delivered vegetables to the market on April 18.
