They jumped on Andy Pettitte early, recording six hits and a walk in the first two innings. Great start for the Boston Red Sox.

But they couldn't finish it.
Boston managed only one run in those two innings, allowing Pettitte and the New York Yankees to regroup. That they did, gaining a 6-2 victory over the Red Sox Thursday night in the American League Championship Series.
