HEARD of ghost Web sites? Well, these are Web sites that lurk on long after the owners or companies have passed on.

Companies closing business often forget about shutting down their Web sites and personal Web sites, so they stay on the Net even after the owners are dead.
Running on auto-pilot, information on these sites could be outdated and definitely not updated because there is no longer human intervention.

Some people call this littering the World Wide Web, which is akin to filling up the Earth with garbage.
