FED: News Corp's Murdoch upbeat about media group's future

ADELAIDE, Oct 15 AAP - An upbeat Rupert Murdoch today fronted News Corp shareholders
to paint a glowing picture of his media company's prospects amid a healthy pick-up in
the US advertising market.

News Corp's chairman and chief executive, who this year celebrates his 50th year at
the helm of the global media group, told shareholders the company was on track for more
record earnings in 2003/04.
