Dr. Rahul Sharma, a third year resident, New York University/Bellevue
Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program, won the 2003 Leadership
Award of the Emergency Medicine Residents Association of the United States.
The award, given to a resident who demonstrates outstanding leadership
ability, will be presented at the Scientific Assembly of the American
College of Emergency Physicians in Boston in October.
The Association, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is the largest and oldest
independent resident organization in the world, with more than 5,000
members.
Sharma, also a recipient of the 2003 Leadership Award of the American
