Fed: Atmospheric methane buildup halts, but not carbon dioxide
An Australian expert says scientists may have to recalculate their greenhouse predictions
with the welcome news the atmospheric buildup of methane has halted.
Levels of the main greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, however, are still growing.
PAUL FRASER, the chief research scientist at the CSIRO Atmospheric Research section,
has told ABC radio the growth of carbon dioxide continues at the same rate.
