IOC president Jacques Rogge said Thursday he would be "very surprised" if any positive tests for THG turn up in reanalysis of samples from the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
Rogge also renewed an offer to give British sprinter Dwain Chambers a reduced penalty if he provides information on the supply and use of the recently discovered designer steroid.
Rogge said the International Olympic Committee plans to retest hundreds of samples from the Salt Lake City Games to check for THG, which was previously undetectable in standard drug tests.
