Waitrose food deal aims at Brits abroad
LONDON, Dec 03, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Online grocer Expat Shopping and British supermarket Waitrose are teaming up to offer satisfy the hankering of Britons abroad for Marmite and marmalade.
The food branch of the John Lewis U.K. department stores group, Waitrose, is Britain's highest-end supermarket chain, with its own brand of foods, ready-to-eat meals, grocery and household products. Nostalgic Brits will be able to order such treats as potatoes basted with roasting beef ...
