Village of Pyla.
The village of Pyla is the very last village co-habited by Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots. Located in the UN Buffer Zone between the Turkish Republic in the North, the Greek Cypriot Administration in the South, and the Dhekelia British Sovereign Base area in the North-East, Pyla is in fact a remnant of the more than 300 mixed villages that used to exist in the island at the beginning of the century.
