JERSEY CITY - Determined to stop corruption in government, educator Carl
Czaplicki is hoping to be elected as Freeholder in Hudson County on Nov. 4
to be a strong voice of the community.

"How can our current County officials fight crime and lower taxes when they
are defending themselves in criminal lawsuits for passing your tax dollars
around the County Courthouse as bribes for contracts?" Czaplicki said in a
flyer distributed to voters.

Czaplicki was referring to former Freeholder-Nida Colon-who was charged
with corruption, together with other Jersey City former officials.

As a hard-working candidate, Czaplicki, 34, knocks to each door of his
