GPIG to Acquire Liuyang Fireworks Company
LIUYANG, Dec 05, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Hunan Liuyang Fireworks Co., Ltd. (LFC 600599SH) announced that the company would acquire the fireworks business, with a book value of CNY 3 million, foronly CNY 1 from Guangzhou Panda International Group Co., Ltd..
In the meantime, the former LFC's executives, including the government appointed president, would all resign and Zhao Weiping, president of GPIG, will be appointed the new presidentof LFC.
Therefore, GPIC is likely to control LFC and totally take charge of the operation of LFC.
