The Atlanta Braves beat the New York Mets 4-to-3 and hold a two-games-to-none lead in the National League championship series. And the New York Yankees have taken a one-game-to-none lead in the American League championship series. Last night they defeated the Boston Red Sox 4-to-3. The Yankees and Red Sox have one of baseball's oldest and most bitter rivalries, but this is the first time they've met in the playoffs.
