From NPR in Los Angeles, I'm Tony Cox, in for Tavis.

Unmarried women could change the course of American politic and be the deciding factor in the 2004 presidential election, if they would just get out and vote. A new study analyzing national census and other public data shows that unmarried women underregister and undervote, making them the most poorly represented demographic in the nation. If unmarried women voted at the same rate as their married sisters, there would be six million new voices rocking the vote in 2004. ...
