November marks National Bone Marrow Awareness Month in the United States.
Rocky Twyman, a bone marrow activist and former Atlanta who now hails from
Rockville, Maryland, celebrates this occasion with a major citywide bone
marrow drive in Atlanta on November 2. Since learning that one of his
relatives in Alabama needs a bone marrow transplant, these drives have
taken on a new significance to him. The drives serves as a special part of
the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Berean Seventh-day Adventist
Church located at 291 Hamilton Holmes Drive. In celebrating of this
milestone, church members wanted to reach out to the community to save
lives through becoming bone ...
