QLD: Policeman to face trial over alleged stomping

BRISBANE, Jan 6 AAP - A Queensland policeman will face trial over allegations he stomped
on a man's head in a street attack in Brisbane.
Brisbane magistrate Errol Wessling today found sufficient evidence for Gregory Allan
Powell, 34, and two of his friends to go to trial over the incident.
Sergeant Powell, who remains on duty at Boondall Criminal Investigation Bureau on the
city's northside, pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault causing bodily harm in
company.
His co-accused, financier Craig Ronald Moffatt, 31, and engineer Nigel Shaw-Black,
34, also pleaded not guilty ...
