Cumberland County commissioners approved an agreement Monday that allows Sagadahoc County to house its inmates at the Cumberland County Jail.
The contract, which Sagadahoc officials are expected to approve today, ends that county's struggle to find a temporary place for its inmates. The agreement also represents a windfall for Cumberland County, which is expected to get at least $940,000 this year from Sagadahoc.
