Analysis: Paul Bremer meets President Bush to discuss political transition in Iraq

The US is considering revising its complicated US blueprint for political transition in Iraq. Paul Bremer, the US administrator for Iraq, met with President Bush at the White House today. A leading Shiite cleric has called for direct elections for a new Iraqi assembly. US officials have said there's no time for that, as NPR's Michele Kelemen reports.
