One week after the New Hampshire primary, Democrats will vote in South Carolina. Now that state has an electorate that is vastly different from New Hampshire, or Iowa, for that matter. Pollsters predict that as many as half of the voters in the Democratic primary will be African-American, and this is a primary in which Al Sharpton, the only black candidate, is hoping to make an impression. NPR's Adam Hochberg is in Columbia, South Carolina. He's been following Sharpton's campaign today.
