The latest SARS outbreak in China resulted in a grisly public campaign of massacring thousands of civet cats that are suspected of transmitting the deadly disease. Now authorities in Asia are slaughtering millions of chickens in an attempt to stop the spread of Avian flu across the region.Killing the messenger literally is not going to eliminate the need for a real health care plan for all the inhabitants of this planet.
