CRIK: Blewett and Hodge divided on pitch as SA faces run-chase
ADELAIDE, Feb 4 AAP - South Australian batsman Greg Blewett praised the Adelaide Oval
pitch while Victoria's Brad Hodge talked up its dangers as the Redbacks prepared for a
final-day Pura Cup run-chase here today.
Set to resume at 2-75, with Blewett 38 not out and SA skipper Darren Lehmann on 22,
the Redbacks needed another 279 runs today to achieve their victory target of 354.
Blewett said he and Lehmann had found batting comfortable in putting on a 46-run stand
late yesterday and he did not expect the pitch to deteriorate much more today.
