(The Daily Vidette) (U-WIRE) NORMAL, Ill. -- Thanks to the progressive field of music therapy, patients suffering from long-term illness and mental or physical pain are discovering mental peace and physical rejuvenation across the country in ways they never before imagined.
Unbeknownst to most, the only music therapy graduate program in the state of Illinois is located at Illinois State University. In addition, ISU is the only Illinois school besides Western Illinois University to offer a music therapy undergraduate program. There are only 75 music therapy undergraduate programs in the United States.
