The Iserv Co., an independent Internet service provider in Michigan, reported that it was able to stop nearly all incoming emails carrying the MyDoom virus from reaching customers' email "in" boxes.
The MyDoom virus, a fast-spreading computer worm that triggered an attack on the Web sites of two prominent business software makers February 1, was detected by Iserv technicians on January 26, the same day the virus was detected globally.
