By Kylie Williams

SYDNEY, Feb 9 AAP - A man today pleaded guilty to strangling a Sydney woman 13 years
ago after a mandatory prison DNA test linked him to the crime.

Peter John Stone, of Lucaston (Lucaston) in Tasmania, today pleaded guilty in the NSW
Supreme Court to the murder of 21-year-old Natalie Henderson in suburban Liverpool on
July 10, 1990.

Stone was charged with the crime early last year, after a mandatory DNA test in prison
linked him to blood splattered on Ms Henderson's pillow case.

Stone had been serving a sentence for attempted rape when the test was conducted.
