Early Childhood Education Programs Need Better Coordination; Makes Case
for House-Passed Head Start Reforms WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. House Education
& the Workforce Committee Republicans today called attention to a new study
by the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) that suggests
quality standards in both the federal Head Start early childhood program
and many state-funded early education programs fall short of what is needed
