A survivor of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center has filed a civil suit with a Hamburg court seeking damages from Abdelghani Mzoudi and Mounir el Motassadeq, her lawyer said Wednesday.
Andreas Schulz, an Berlin-based attorney who represented U.S. relatives of victims in criminal trials against the two men _ the first Sept. 11 trials anywhere _ said he had filed the civil suit with the Hamburg state court in an attempt to prevent either men from indirectly reaping financial benefits from the cases.
