Irish Republican Army activity is making the revival of Northern Ireland power-sharing impossible, Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern said Thursday in a speech directed at leaders of the IRA-linked Sinn Fein party.
Ahern, speaking at the Londonderry campus of the University of Ulster, told his audience _ among them Martin McGuinness and Mitchel McLaughlin, two of the top three figures in Sinn Fein _ that IRA activity "negates any prospect of achieving inclusive partnership politics in Northern Ireland."
