SA: Ford Territory to have curtain airbags

ADELAIDE, March 10 AAP - Ford has boasted its upcoming Territory crossover car will
be one of the safest on Australian roads and the first locally built vehicle with curtain
airbags.

The Territory, based on the Falcon platform and available as either a two-wheel or
four-wheel-drive, goes on sale in June.

The company said today curtain airbags would be standard on the mid-ranged TS model
and the upmarket Ghia and would be available as an optional extra on the base model TX.

"The inflatable side curtain airbag on Territory adds a new dimension of safety in
an Australian built vehicle," said Ford Australia ...
