U.S. in close contact over Spain blasts
WASHINGTON, Mar 12, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- The U.S. State Department Friday said Washington and Madrid were in close contact on the blasts that killed nearly 200 people.
"There's a lot going on between us and Spain at all levels," State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said.
