Latin American-Caribbean art unveiled
NEW YORK, Mar 21, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- With eight months to go before the Museum of Modern Art moves into its renovated and enlarged Manhattan home, it is loaning out some of its collections to other museums, notably the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin and El Museo de Barrio in New York.
The loan show in Berlin, to run through Sept. 19, includes 212 of the familiar masterpieces of European and U.S. art that give the MoMA collection its distinction as the most comprehensive assemblage of modern art in the world today.
