Vic: Police charge man with restaurant shooting= 2

The victim, believed to be Andrew "Benji" Veniamin, had gone to the restaurant soon
after attending a Melbourne court case involving another suspected underworld killer,
Victor Brincat.

Veniamin had sat in the public gallery of the Melbourne Magistrates Court with close
companion Carl Williams, also a gangland murder suspect, and the pair had left the court
building together.

Police said the victim was shot on the ground floor dining area of the crowded restaurant
