Based on its upcoming San Francisco dates, The Armenian Film Festival is
bringing to New York three days of contemporary films and videos by and
about Armenians from all over the world.
The films range from documentary to fiction, features to shorts, and
experimental to narrative by filmmakers in Armenia, the Middle East, Europe
and the Americas. The program focuses on contemporary works, showcasing
fresh new voices from Armenia and throughout the diasporas.
The project is off to a powerful start, with a generous grant from United
Artists. UA is the specialty film division of MGM, and it is committed to
encouraging independent filmmaking and fresh new voices, ...
