Some of the 12 Kuwaiti detainees suspected by the United States of being terrorists will be released from Guantanamo Bay "soon," Kuwait's prime minister said in remarks published Sunday.

Sheik Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah's comments, published in Kuwait's al-Anba daily, came as a delegation was expected to leave for Washington to try broker the release of the Kuwaitis, a Foreign Ministry official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
