New study in finding colorectal cancer

INNSBRUCK, Austria, Apr 15, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Testing for DNA changes in stools may provide a new, accurate, and less invasive way to screen patients for colorectal cancer, a study says.

That is the conclusion of an Austrian team of researchers as reported in Thursday's edition of The Lancet.
