With the fly ball to left, the Sea Dogs' Eric Johnson tagged at third base and then came storming home. Trenton catcher Dioner Navarro waited for the ball, preparing for the collision.
The throw home was cut off, so Johnson could just stride across the plate, instead of lowering his shoulder.
Good thing for Navarro. Johnson, at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, knows how to apply a hit.
He has taken out his share of wide receivers and running backs in the open field.
