Shanxi to Conduct Public Transfer of Mining Rights
TAIYUAN, Apr 28, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Land and Resource Department (LRD) of Shanxi Province has issued an interim provisions for public transfer of mining rights.
In the previous years, the government of Shanxi Province transferred mining rights to companies and individuals free of charge. However, the central government has decided to change the policies and ruled that the newly-registered mining rights should be transferred in public unless the central government and provincial government approve otherwise.
