Fernando Segiugnol hit a two-run homer Thursday to power the Nippon Ham Fighters to a 6-4 win over the Kintetsu Buffaloes at Sapporo Dome.

Seguignol, who has major league experience with the Montreal Expos and New York Yankees, gave the Fighters a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh with an opposite-field blast off Kintetsu reliever Hideo Koike that just cleared the wall in right field.

Seguignol, who came into Thursday's game with a .455 batting average, had a pair of homers and seven RBIs in Wednesday's 15-8 win over Kintetsu and now has nine homers this season.
