Governor Mitt Romney wants to bring back the death penalty in Massachusetts. The state hasn't executed anyone in more than half a century. And today the Republican governor presented a plan for capital punishment that he says will be, in his words, `as infallible as humanly possible.' The governor recommends that the death penalty be limited to the very worst crimes, and he says convictions should be reviewed by scientific experts. NPR's Anthony Brooks is in Boston.
