NEW YORK CITY -- American Legacy Magazine proudly presents its Fifth Annual
Women of Strength and Courage Awards luncheon Thursday, February 26, at New
York City's Grand Hyatt Hotel.

American Legacy, the magazine of African American history and culture, will
present its annual Women of Strength and Courage Award to six extraordinary
African American women, paying tribute to their lifetime achievements to
African American history. The Mistress of Ceremonies for the event is
actress Daphne Maxwell Reid, the famed actress and co-founder New
Millennium Studios. This year's honorees are: Suzanne de Passe,
entertainment mogul; Vonetta Flowers, Olympic Gold medalist; Nikki
