Of course, common sense dictates that it's hard to make progress with
someone you have never met or seen. Because they are unaware of their peers
in social service, some African-American organizations might not advance as
far as they could. It is, after all hard to support an organization one has
never heard of.
The Indianapolis Professional Association (IPA) and the Marion County Bar
Association (MCBA) would like to rectify this situation by sponsoring what
organizers call a "cross-organizational event."
Representatives from a variety of Black businesses, civic groups, social
organizations and professional societies will meet at a special ...
