Five to face trial in moving walkway death
ROME, May 13, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Five people will face trial for manslaughter of a British woman crushed to death when an Italy train station moving walkway collapsed.
Professor Sally Baldwin, 62, fell through a hole in the walkway at Rome's Tiburtina station. She was dragged into revolving cylinders and killed instantly, the BBC reported.
Prosecutors decided three managers and two engineers will stand trial for manslaughter and grievous bodily harm.
