TAMPIN, Tues. - He is a veteran of sorts. Having been in and out of jail more than 10 times for snatching handbags, burglary and robbery, he was back in the dock today.

In his case, old habits seem to die hard. Having five children and six grandchildren, he is far from the role model grandfather his family may have expected him to be.
