Tuesday, May 25, 2004 -- The Justice Ministry has appointed Assistant State Attorney for Criminal Affairs Nava Ben-Or to step in for the newly installed Supreme Court Justice Edna Arbel until a special committee headed by Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz finds a permanent replacement.
The committee includes Justice Ministry Director- General Aharon Abramovich, Civil Service Commissioner Shmuel Hollander, retired Jerusalem District Court president Vardi Zeiler, University of Haifa Law School dean Dafna Barak-Erez, and attorney Rahel Toren-Cohen.
