PATERSON - Samuel Torres plans to open Economy Liquors in June, says he'll run a quiet store, and asks that residents of the Crosby and Sheridan avenues area give him a chance.

But for some 2nd Ward residents, the coming of the liquor store means "there goes the neighborhood."
