Spo: WADA concern over nutritional supplements
MONTREAL, Canada, June 1 AFP - Sport's anti-doping policeman WADA issued a stark warning
to athletes today ahead of the Olympic Games claiming they faced devastating consequences
if they used nutritional supplements.
At the end of a two-day conference on the issue the World Anti-Doping Agency said it
planned to make athletes aware of the risks presented by supplements ahead of the Athens
Games in August.
Delegates from the worlds of sport, industry and government agreed to establish a common
definition of nutritional supplements and initiate research into which ones presented
