The threat of terrorism and other modern day perils have put a damper on
the Holy Week rituals of the stars, traditionally known to hie off for a
weekend of penance (show-biz version), sun and sin in this holiest of weeks
in the Catholic calendar.

It is said that only the hardiest and the most devil-may-care will seek the
sands of Boracay, Puhket or any high visibility resort this week. The savvy
thing to do this time, according to fun-loving actor Jake Roxas, is to hit
the remotest and undiscovered beaches, if sunning (or sinning) is a star's
thing.
