Fed: Wool growers start inquiry into better selling wool
CANBERRA, June 11 AAP - Wool growers will hold a series of meetings around the country
to find better ways to sell wool and lift demand for the natural fibre.
The industry's peak body, WoolProducers, have called for submissions and comments on
proposals from research and promotional companies on better ways to sell wool.
The industry is suffering from a continuing downturn in demand from the fabric industry,
while the strengthening Australian dollar is also making life difficult on international
markets.
