A familiar landmark will be looking a little different these days, as a $50,000 renovation gets under way at Spring Point. The 107-year-old lighthouse that has come to symbolize South Portland's waterfront history is undergoing repairs, which will heal the wounds the beacon has sustained from years of rough seas.
